Summary: We generalize a fixed point theorem in partially ordered complete metric spaces in the study of \textit{A. Amini-Harandi} and \textit{H. Emami} [Nonlinear Anal., Theory Methods Appl., Ser. A, Theory Methods 72, No. 5, 2238--2242 (2010; Zbl 1197.54054)]. We also give an application on the existence and uniqueness of the positive solution of a multipoint boundary value problem with fractional derivatives.
