A very nice theorem of \textit{G. M. Bergman}, proved in [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 141, No. 4, 1177--1183 (2013; Zbl 1273.16004)], states that every module is an inverse limit of injective modules. In the main results of the present paper the author proves that the result is also valid in Grothendieck categories. This generalization is not trivial since some notions and techniques which are standard in module categories has to be introduced in the context of Grothendieck categories.
