In this brief note the authors present a continuation and a clarification of some aspects of their previous work on magnetic curves in Sasakian and cosymplectic manifolds. They prove that a normal magnetic curve on the Sasakian sphere \(\mathbb{S}^{2n+1}\) lies on a totally geodesic sphere \(\mathbb{S}^3\) and the Sasakian structure on \(\mathbb{S}^3\) is the structure induced by \(\mathbb{S}^{2n+1}\).
