    Let \(X\) be a vector space over a scalar field \(\mathbb{\mathbb{K}}\) with a non-Archimedean non-trivial valuation \(|\cdot|\). A function \(\| \cdot \|_*: X \to \mathbb{R}\) is a non-Archimedean norm if it satisfies the following conditions: (1) \(\| x\|_* = 0\) if and only if \(x = 0\); (2) \(\| rx \|_* = |r| \| x \|_*\), \(r \in \mathbb{K}\), \(x \in X\); (3) \(\| x + y \|_* \leq \max \{ \| x \|_*, \| y \|_* \}\), \(x, y \in X\). Then \((X, \| \cdot \|_*)\) is called an ultrametric normed space. We assume that \((X, \|\cdot\|)\) is a real normed space and \((Y, \| \cdot \|_*)\) is an ultrametric Banach space over a scalar field \(\mathbb{K}\) with a non-trivial non-Archimedean valuation. Moreover, we assume that the characteristic of \(\mathbb{K}\) is not 2. The main results of the paper are the following: Let \(c \geq 0\), \(p,q \in \mathbb{R}\), \(p + q \neq 0\) and \(f: X \to Y\) satisfy \[ \left\|f\left(\frac{x+y}{2}\right) - \frac{1}{2}f(x) - \frac{1}{2}f(y)\right\|_* \leq c\|x\|_*^p \|y\|_*^q \] for \( x ,y \in X \setminus \{0\}\) such that \(x + y \neq 0\). Then \(f\) satisfies the functional equation \[ f\left(\frac{x+y}{2}\right) = \frac{1}{2}f(x) + \frac{1}{2}f(y) \] on \(X \setminus \{0 \}\). Let \(c \geq 0\), \( p,q > 0\) and \(f: X \to Y\) satisfy (1) for all \(x, y \in X\). Then \(f\) satisfies (2) on \(X\). A similar problem for \(f: U \to Y\), where \(0 \in U \subset X\), \(\frac{1}{2}U \subset U\), \(2U \subset U\) and \((Y, \| \cdot \|)\) is a Banach space, was considered by \textit{A. Bahyrycz} and \textit{M. Piszczek} [Acta Math. Hung. 142, No. 2, 353--365 (2014; Zbl 1299.39022)].
