    The author proves the blow-up of solutions in the finite time to the Cauchy problem for the general multi-dimensional compressible Euler-Poisson equations in \(\mathbb{R}^n, n \geq 3\) without requirement o the compact support for the initial data \[ \begin{cases} \partial _t \rho + \text{div} (\rho u)=0,\\ \partial _t(\rho u) + \text{div} (\rho u\otimes u)+\nabla \rho =\delta \rho \nabla \Phi\\ \partial _t( \frac{1}{2}\rho |u|^2+\rho e) + \text{div} ((\frac{1}{2}\rho |u|^2+\rho e+p)u) =\delta \rho u\nabla \Phi,\\ \nabla \Phi =n(n-2)\omega_ng \rho,\end{cases} \] where \((x,t)\in \mathbb{R}^n\times \mathbb{R}_+, \rho=\rho(x,t), u=(u_1,u_2,\dots,u_n), p, e\), and \(\Phi\) denote the density, velosity, pressure, internal energy and the potential for the self-gravitation force, respectively, \(g\) and \(\omega_n\) are the gravitational constant and the measure of the unit ball in \(\mathbb{R}^n\), \(\delta\) is an integer that is permitted only to be \(-1\) or \(1\).
