The main result is that the image \(X\) of a product of Lindelöf \(\Sigma\)-spaces or of a countably compact (even countably protocompact) space \(\Pi\) under a continuous \(M\)-mapping is \(\aleph_0\)-cellular in the sense of Arkhangel'skij. The same is shown to be true if both \(\Pi\) and \(X\) have ``good'' lattices of continuous mappings. There are also some results on continuous images of dense subspaces of topological groups which generalize earlier work by V. V. Uspenskij and the author.
