The authors present a numerical method for solving singularly perturbed two-point boundary value problems with a boundary layer on the left end of the given interval. The original problem is converted into two-point boundary problems in inner and outer regions and the classical finite difference scheme is applied combined with a discrete invariant imbedding algorithm to get the numerical solutions. Results of three numerical examples show good accuracy of the proposed methods.
