The authors generalize some results on transfinite mean value interpolation to domains in arbitrary dimensions. Mean value coordinate and mean value interpolation have been developed in several papers and have been used for mesh parametrization, mesh deformation, and image wrap in computer graphics and geometric modelling. Several properties of mean value interpolation over arbitrary curves were derived and an Hermite interpolation was constructed based on a formula for the normal derivative.
