This paper is a contribution to the theory of Lie supergroups and (super) Harish-Chandra pairs, originally developed by Koszul. In addition, conditions for a complex homogeneous supermanifold to be split are given. It is well known that the two categories, the category of Lie supergroups SLG, and the category of (super) Harish-Chandra pairs HCP (or SHCP) are equivalent in the real-analytic case. The main result of this paper is a proof that the categories SLG and SHCP are also equivalent in the complex-analytic case. The proof for the real-analytic case uses the fact that a \(C^{\infty}\)-supermanifold can be reconstructed from the algebra of global sections of its structure sheaf. This argument does not just carry over to the complex-analytic case. Hence a different argument is used, which works globally for the analytic setting. The theory of (super) Harish-Chandra pairs can also be extended to affine algebraic supergroups over an algebraically closed field of characteristic zero. This is only a short remark in this paper, but in the meantime a result of \textit{C. Carmeli} and \textit{R. Fioresi} [``Super distributions, analytic and algebraic super Harish-Chandra pairs'', \url{arXiv:1106.1072v1}] has appeared, proving that also the category of algebraic SHCP is equivalent to the category of affine algebraic supergroups.
