The author proposes a new form for equations of state (EOS) of thermodynamic systems in the 3-dimensional Ising universality class. The author gives a generalization of the traditional Schofield representation [\textit{P. Schofield}, ``Parametric representation of the equation of state near a critical point'', Phys. Rev. Lett. 22, 606--608 (1969)] that eliminates the singularities by a parameterization by means of generalized polar coordinates. The author discusses in more details numerical results for a special choice of generalized polar coordinates. The new \(\sum\)-explicit EOS close to a critical point is derived. The existence of an analytic \(D\)-explicit EOS is proved. By incorporation scaling correction fields, the new \(\sum\)-explicit EOS to states further away from the critical point is extended. The author indicates how to use the new EOS to model multiphase fluid mixtures, in particular for vapor-liquid-liquid equilibrium where the traditional revised scaling approach fails. A phenomenological critical scaling model for multiphase fluid mixtures is proposed.
