This paper contains two theorems: 1) The intersection lattice of an arrangement of hyperplanes in \({\mathbb{C}}^{\ell}\) is supersolvable if and only if the arrangement is of fiber type \((=the\) complement of all hyperplanes allows an iterated linear fibration). 2) The algebra, which is defined by Orlik-Solomon, associated with a finite geometric lattice factors as a tensor product of graded subspaces by the existence of a modular element.
