This paper is concerned with scalar hyperbolic conservation laws with a non-convex flux in one space dimension. Using geometric singular perturbation, it is shown that the parabolic-elliptic system admits traveling wave solution which converges to an under-compressive shock wave. It is shown that the initial value problem has a unique global solution for suitable initial data; local existence of classical solutions is discussed for a general flux function. The behavior of the solution in the diffusive-dispersive limit and in the sharp-interface limit has been studied. It is a well written paper which should be of interest to the people working on this topic.
