The overall structure is retained in this greatly enlarged second edition, we briefly summarize the most important additions. A new chapter on transformations of Bernstein functions was motivated by the continuing interest in subclasses of infinitely divisible distributions. A new section on subordination and functional inequalities treats the stability of Nash-type and related inequalities under subordination. The tables are updated and added a new section on complete Bernstein functions given by an exponential representation.
