The authors study the \(\mathbb{Z}\)-module of first order local Vassiliev type invariants of stable maps of oriented 3-manifolds into \(\mathbb{R}^4\) and they determine a complete classification of the codimension two germs and multigerms as well as their corresponding bifurcation diagrams. Another paper directly connected to this topic is [\textit{C. Casonatto} et al., Topology Appl. 159, No. 2, 420--429 (2012; Zbl 1255.57026)].
