In this paper, the subject of rotation-invariant t-norms is studied. The correspondences and the differences between two approaches (of Jenei and of Maes and De Baets, respectively) are analyzed. The rotation of \(a\)-zooms of a t-norm is generalized to \((a,b)\)-zooms. Some of Jenei's results are presented in Theorems 2 and 3; since these results are inadequate to describe non-decomposable t-norms, like the Łukasiewicz t-norm, an alternative (named `triple construction'), proposed by Maes and De Baets, is briefly recalled in Section 4. In the next section, the triple rotation method (decomposition and rotation) is extended to rotation-invariant t-norms. At the end of the paper, two problems for further research are formulated.
