    In the article under review, the author studies the Cauchy problem \[ \begin{alignedat}{2} &u_t - \text{div }(a(x,t,u,Du)) + K(x,t,u,Du) = f&&\qquad \text{in } {\mathcal D}'(\Omega_T),\\ &u(x,t) = 0 &&\qquad\text{in }\partial\Omega\times (0,T),\\ &u(x,0) = u_0(x) &&\qquad\text{in }\Omega, \end{alignedat} \] where \(f\equiv f_0 - \sum_{i=1}^N\frac{\partial}{\partial x_i}f_i\), \(f_i\in L^{p'}(\Omega_T)\), \(i = 0,1,\dots, N,\) \(u_0\in L^2(\Omega)\), and \(a\), \(K\) are Carathéodory functions satisfying certain structure conditions. Under suitable hypotheses on the data of the problem, the author proves existence results in the spaces \(L^{\infty}(0,T;L^2(\Omega))\cap L^p(0,T;W_0^{1,p}(\Omega))\), \(L^{\infty}(0,T;L^h(\Omega))\cap L^m(0,T;W_0^{1,m}(\Omega))\) and shows how the summability of the solutions and of their gradients is related to that of \(f\) when \(f\) belongs to \(L^{\sigma}(\Omega_T)\), with \(\sigma\) ``small''.
