The authors extend results on rings with Krull dimension or rings Noetherian relative to a hereditary torsion theory to rings with relative Krull dimension with respect to a hereditary torsion theory \(\tau\) such that any \(\tau\)-torsionfree module has nonempty assassinator. They study \(\Delta\)-injective modules, tame modules and characterize rings with bijective relative Gabriel correspondence. The relationship between relative Krull dimension and classical relative Krull dimension is investigated. Finally, \(\Delta\)-modules are considered. It is shown that for the previously mentioned class of rings, every \(\tau\)-torsionfree right \(R\)-module with finite assassinator (resp. with \(\tau\)-Krull dimension) is a \(\Delta\)-module if and only if \(\text{Spec}_\tau(R)\) satisfies the right restricted (resp. \(\tau\)-restricted) strong second layer condition and either \(R\) has bijective \(\tau\)-Gabriel correspondence or \(R\) is right fully \(\tau\)-bounded.
