Let \(R\) be a semiprime ring. A mapping \(F:R\to R\) is a multiplicative generalized-derivation associated with a mapping \(d:R\to R\) if \(F(xy)=F(x)y+xd(y)\) for all \(x,y\in R\). In this article, many identities involving multiplicative generalized-derivations \(F\) and \(G\) of a semiprime ring \(R\) with associated mappings \(g\) and \(d\), respectively, and a mapping \(\alpha:R\to R\), are considered. It is shown that the identities would force certain properties on \(g\), \(d\), \(\alpha\), and/or \(R\) itself to hold. For example, if \(G(xy)+F(x)F(y)+[\alpha(x),y)]=0\) for all elements \(x\) and \(y\) of a nonzero ideal \(I\) of \(R\), then \([d(x),x]=0\) and \([g(x),x]=0\) for all \(x\in I\); and if furthermore \(\alpha\) is an automorphism of \(R\), then \(R\) is commutative.
