In a profound analysis, the authors design an important criterion for asymptotic completeness in quantum field theory. The paper sheds light on the asymptotic completeness problem by means of the so-called Araki-Haag detectors (observables) whose existence is demonstrated. The article is presented in an irreproachable way, with precise statements and elegant technique.
