The cooperative game theory treats model-theoretic foundations and developments of supply chain management, being based on optimal cost/profit allocations under convenient cooperations. This book focuses on horizontal and vertical cooperations. Thus, after the introduction, it falls into ten parts completed with significant references. Chapter 2 is devoted to selected topics in cooperative game theory. Chapter 3 develops the algorithmic game theory. The cooperation in supply chains is treated in Chapter 4. Chapters 5--8 contain important subjects concerning the lot sizing games: economic lot sizing games, lot sizing games with uncertain demands, capacitated lot sizing games with transshipments scarce capacities and player-dependent cost coefficients, multilevel lot sizing games with restricted cooperations. Some conclusions and future research are presented in Chapter 9. Before the bibliography, the book concludes with two computational studies.
