The authors deal with the classical topic of computing the matrix-vector product \(Ax,\) where the matrix \(A\in \mathbb{C}^{nxn}\) is structured. As the computational costs may be lowered by exploiting the matrix structure, the authors restrict their study to the two cases where the matrix \(A\) is generalized centrosymmetric and generalized centro-Hermitian. After proving some results about the reducibility of such kinds of structured matrices, the author propose two different algorithms for computing the matrix-vector product in these two different cases.
