Iterated function systems (IFS) introduced in 1981 by \textit{J. E. Hutchinson} in his famous paper [``Fractals and self-similarity'', Indiana Univ. Math. J. 30, 713--747 (1981; Zbl 0598.28011)], are the main generators of fractals as attractors of the respective IFSs on a complete metric space. In the present paper, the authors provide a laborious investigation the fractals which are tilings obtained from the attractors of some IFSs improving and unifying given in several works in the literature. The method described in the paper can be used in fractal transformations between basins of attractors of pair of IFSs. It is analyzed the tilings obtained from attractors of both non-overlapping and overlapping cases. Some relevant examples and applications are also given.
