A flux-corrected pseudospectral method based on the flux limiter of \textit{S. T. Zalesak} [ibid. 31, 335-362 (1979; Zbl 0416.76002)] is discussed. A flux conservative form of the method is derived for compatibility with flux limiters used to preserve monotonicity. The resulting schemes gives high quality results in linear advection and shock formation/propagation examples.
