Let \(\Omega \subset \mathbb C^n\) be a bounded pseudoconvex domain and \(g_{\Omega} (\cdot, a)\) its pluricomplex Green function with a pole at a point \(a \in \Omega\). The following two conjectures are due to Z. Błocki and W. Zwonek: {\parindent=8mm \begin{itemize} \item[(C1)] The function \(\alpha (t):= e^{-2nt}\lambda_n(\{g_\Omega (\cdot ,a) <t\}) \) is nondecreasing on \((-\infty,0)\) \item [(C2)] The function \(\beta (t):= \log ( \lambda_n(\{g_\Omega (\cdot ,a) <t\}) \) is convex on \((-\infty,0)\). \end{itemize}} Here, \(\lambda_n\) denotes the Lebesgue measure. J. E. Fornæss has disproved (C2) by means of a triply connected domain in the plane, so the above conjectures will not hold in general. But the authors prove them under the hypothesis that \(\Omega \) is balanced. After this they consider the analogues of the functions \(\alpha\) and \(\beta\) for the Green function with two poles in the case that \(\Omega\) is a planar domain. They disprove (C1) and (C2) in this case.
