The Picard functor of an algebraic stack (Q1000593): Difference between revisions

The paper under review constructs and investigates the Picard stack of an algebraic stack which is cohomologically flat in dimension zero (i.e. it is flat and even after basechange the global functions are the constants). The main results are the construction of the connected component of the identity and its properness provided the stack is geometrically normal and integral. The latter property is shown fiberwise, not by the usual valuative criterion. Finally, the author computes some examples.
