The authors consider an autonomous differential equations of \(s^{th}\) order, with \(s\geq 1\), in a Banach space, with a degenerate Fredholm operator at the highest derivative. By using a variant of the classic Floquet theory, they investigate the stability of periodic solutions at Andronov-Hopf bifurcation. They also suggest some stability criteria based on the perturbation theory and Newton diagram method.
