Let \(V\) be a reflexive Banach space which is supposed to be densely and continuously imbedded in a real Hilbert space \(H.\) In this paper, the authors, by using a recent generalization of the famous KKM-Fan's lemma, prove the existence of solutions of the following mixed initial value problem \[ \frac{du}{dt}+Au+Gu=f\quad\text{on }(0,T), \qquad u(0)=u_0, \] where \(A:V\rightarrow V{^{\prime}}\) is a monotone operator, \(G:V\rightarrow V'\) is a nonlinear nonmonotone operator and \(f:(0,T)\rightarrow V'\) is a measurable function. The obtained results extend existing results in the literature.
