    We denote the complex sphere by \(\tilde S=\{z\in {\mathbb{C}}^{d+1}\); \(z^ 2_ 1+...+z^ 2_{d+1}=1\}\) and we put \(\tilde S(r)=\{z\in \tilde S\); \(L(z)<r\}\) for \(r>1\) and \(\tilde S[r]=\{z\in \tilde S\); L(z)\(\leq r\}\) for \(r\geq 1\), where L(z) is the Lie norm on \({\mathbb{C}}^{d+1}\). \({\mathcal O}(\tilde S)\), \({\mathcal O}(\tilde S(r))\) and \({\mathcal O}(\tilde S[r])\) denote the spaces of holomorphic functions on \(\tilde S,\tilde S(r)\) and \(\tilde S[r]\), respectively. \(Exp(\tilde S)\) denotes the restriction to \(\tilde S\) of the space of entire functions on \({\mathbb{C}}^{d+1}\) of exponential type. \({\mathcal O}'(\tilde S(r))\), \({\mathcal O}'(\tilde S[r])\) and \(Exp'(\tilde S)\) denote the dual spaces of \({\mathcal O}(\tilde S(r))\), \({\mathcal O}(\tilde S[r])\) and \(Exp(\tilde S)\), respectively. For \(f'\in Exp'(\tilde S)\) the Fourier-Borel transformation \(P_{\lambda}\) is defined by \(P_{\lambda}f'(z)=<f'_{\zeta}\), \(\exp(i\lambda \zeta \cdot z)>\) for \(z\in {\mathbb{C}}^{d+1}\), where \(\lambda\in {\mathbb{C}}\setminus \{0\}\) is a fixed constant. \textit{M. Morimoto} [Complex Analysis, Banach Cent. Publ. 11, 223-250 (1983; Zbl 0599.46061)] determined the images of \(Exp'(\tilde S)\) and \({\mathcal O}'(\tilde S)\) by \(P_{\lambda}\). The purpose of this paper is to determine the images of \({\mathcal O}'(\tilde S(r))\) and \({\mathcal O}'(\tilde S[r])\) by \(P_{\lambda}\). Full details appeared in Tôhoku Math. J. 38, 417-432 (1986).
