The authors continue the work from [\textit{C. LeBrun} and \textit{S. R. Simanca}, Geom. Funct. Anal. 4, No. 3, 298--336 (1994; Zbl 0801.53050); in: Geometry and global analysis. Report of the 1st MSJ, International Research Institute, Sendai, Japan, July 12--23, 1993. Sendai: Tôhoku Univ., Mathematical Institute. 255--271 (1993; Zbl 0921.53032)] on the deformation of Calabi extremal metrics. And as an application of their results, they reprove a result by \textit{S. K. Donaldson} [in: Handbook of geometric analysis. No. 1. Somerville, MA: International Press; Beijing: Higher Education Press. 29--75 (2008; Zbl 1161.53066)] on the existence of Kähler-Einstein metrics for some deformations of the Mukai-Umemura 3-fold. The existence of Kähler-Einstein metrics of the Mukai-Umemura 3-fold was proved by Donaldson in [loc. cit.] using Tian's version of the Siu-Tian-Yau method. \textit{S. Mukai} and \textit{H. Umemura}'s ground breaking work can be found in [Lect. Notes Math. 1016, 490--518 (1983; Zbl 0526.14006)]. Siu-Tian-Yau's ground breaking work can be found in [\textit{Y.-T. Siu}, Ann. Math. (2) 127, No. 3, 585--627 (1988; Zbl 0651.53035)] and [\textit{G. Tian}, Invent. Math. 89, 225--246 (1987; Zbl 0599.53046)].
