Edgeworth expansions for centered random walks on covering graphs of polynomial volume growth (Q2677011): Difference between revisions

In this paper, the author studies long-time asymptotics of random walks on covering graphs of polynomial volume growth. Under some natural conditions, the author proves an Edgeworth expansion. The coefficients of this expansion depend not only on the geometric features of the underlying graph, but also on the modified harmonic embedding of the graph into a certain nilpotent Lie group. The author also establishes a Berry-Essen-type bound for the random walks.
