This paper develops the theory of lower and upper solutions for semilinear singularly perturbed interface Dirichlet boundary value problem with a jump discontinuity in the source term \[ \begin{gathered} \epsilon u''=f(x,u), \;x\in[a,d)\cup(d,b], \\ [\epsilon u'](d)=c_1, \;[u](d)=c_2, \\ u(a)=A, \;u(b)=B,\end{gathered} \] where \(\epsilon\) is a small positive parameter, \([w](d)\) denotes a jump of the function \(w\) at the point \(d,\) and \[ f(x,u)=\begin{cases} f_1(x,u), & \;x\in[a,d), \\ f_2(x,u), & \;x\in(d,b], \\ f_1(d,u)\neq f_2(d,u), & \;u\in\mathbb{R}. \end{cases} \] The asymptotic estimates, existence, and conditions for uniqueness of the solution for the problem under consideration are analyzed and established by the asymptotic expansion techniques and the method of lower and upper solutions.
