Let \(\mathfrak{p}(U)\) be the lower central series completion of the free Lie algebra in \(x_0\) and \(x_1\). It is known that Drinfeld's KZ-associator \(\Phi(x_0, x_1) \in \exp \mathfrak{p}(U)_{\mathbb{R}}\) enjoys nice arithmetic properties, especially through its connections with multiple zeta values and mixed Tate motives. In particular, \textit{P. Deligne} [in: Galois groups over \(\mathbb{Q}\), Proc. Workshop, Berkeley/CA (USA) 1987, Publ., Math. Sci. Res. Inst. 16, . 79--297 (1989; Zbl 0742.14022)] showed that \[ \log(\Phi(x_0, x_1)) = -\sum_{k=2}^{\infty} \zeta(k) \operatorname{ad}^{k-1}(x_0)(x_1) \mod [D^1 \mathfrak{p}(U), D^1 \mathfrak{p}(U)], \qquad (*) \] where \(D^1\mathfrak{p}(U) \subseteq \mathfrak{p}(U)\) is the ideals generated by \(x_1\). As an elliptic analog of Drinfeld's KZ associator, \textit{B. Enriquez} [Sel. Math., New Ser. 20, No. 2, 491--584 (2014; Zbl 1294.17012)] introduced the elliptic KZB associator. Hence it is natural to explore the arithmetic properties of this new associator analogous to those of its genus-zero counterpart. The goal of the paper under review is to establish an analog of (*) for Enriquez' elliptic KZB associator in the (maximal) meta-abelian quotient of the fundamental Lie algebra of a punctured elliptic curve. The resulting formulas are explicit, unfortunately too technical to be reproduced here. Similarly to the genus-zero case, they involve the Riemann zeta values and regularized Eichler integrals of Eisenstein series. As a byproduct of the proof, the author also indicates how to retrieve Zagier's extended period polynomials of Eisenstein series, as well as the values at zero of Beilinson-Levin's elliptic polylogarithms, from the meta-abelian elliptic KZB associator.
