A fair Pythagorean quintic curve is used for \(G^2\) blending of two circles. A single curve segment is necessary as transition curve between two circular arcs, or between two straight line segments, rather than the composition of two curve segments which are conventionally used in CAD and CAGD applications for transition two circles.
