In this paper is defined a new large class \(A_L\) of groups that satisfy the conjecture of \textit{H. Bass} [Invent. Math. 35, 155-196 (1976; Zbl 0365.20008)]. The class \(A_L\) contains the class \(A\), which is introduced by \textit{I. Emmanouil} and \textit{I. B. S. Passi} [J. Group Theory 7, No. 3, 409-420 (2004; Zbl 1069.20043)]. The author examines closure properties of the class \(A_L\) and exhibits certain examples of groups which are contained in \(A_L\).
