Denote by \({\mathcal F}\) the \(\mathbb{C}\)-linear space spanned by those (meromorphic) modular functions \(f(\tau)\) of level 1 and integral weight \(k\geq 0\) which satisfy (i) \(f(\tau)\) is holomorphic on the upper half plane; (ii) \(f (\tau)\) has Fourier expansions of the form \(f(\tau)= \sum^\infty_{n=-1} a_nq^n\) with \(a_0=0\), where \(q=e^{\pi i\tau}\). In this paper, the authors prove that the space of one-point functions of the Moonshine vertex operator algebras is exactly the space \({\mathcal F}\).
