Possible observational effects of multidimensional theories of gravity are discussed. These theories include the low energy limit of supergravities and superstring theories as special cases. The choice of the physical conformal frame is discussed in order to get a useful frame for the observation. For static, spherically symmetric solutions of the above mentioned theories general expressions for the Eddington parameters are given which describe the post-Newtonian gravitational field of the central body. These parameters depend on the integration constants and on the choice of the frame. Moreover expressions for the violation of Coulombs law and the \(p\)-brane black-hole temperature are derived. The possibility of multidimensional objects (T-holes) is discussed.
