Representations of the projective line \(PG(1,R)\) over a ring with unit in a projective space over a (not necessarily commutative) field \(K\) are discussed. It turns out that the points of the projective line over \(R\) are represented by certain subspaces of the projective space \(\mathbb{P}(K,U \times U)\) with \(U\) a \((K,R)\)-bimodule. Some interesting examples also have been worked out.
