\textit{S. Morier-Genoud} and \textit{V. Ovsienko} [Commun. Math. Phys. 306, No. 1, 83--118 (2011; Zbl 1226.17002)] have defined series of non-commutative and non-associative algebras \(\mathbb{O}_{p,q}\) over reals and \(\mathbb{O}_{n}\) over complex numbers which generalize the algebra of octonions \(\mathbb{O}\). The classification of real algebras \(\mathbb{O} _{p,q}\) has been studied by \textit{M. Kreusch} and \textit{S. Morier-Genoud} [Commun. Algebra 43, No. 9, 3799--3815 (2015; Zbl 1377.17006)]. The author researches the periodicity of the real algebras \(\mathbb{O}_{p,q}\) and the complex algebras \(\mathbb{O}_{n}\). In the real case, the result follows the same ideas as for real Clifford algebras. However, in the complex case, the periodicity modulo \(4\) is found, not modulo \(2\), which holds for complex Clifford algebras. The author uses the very helpful method of triangulated graphs.
