The purpose of this paper is to establish the global existence of a classical solution under the assumption of a small initial perturbation for a simplified version of the Ericksen-Leslie equations, a system of three PDE, which govern the motion of compressible nematic liquid crystal flows. The proofs use Fourier splitting method, Sobolev interpolation inequality, Sobolev, Gagliardo-Nirenberg, Hölder, Young, Cauchy Gronwall inequalities, Leibniz formula, Duhamel principle, Parseval identity, Green matrix, and Green function.
