Among other things, the authors prove the following theorem: Let \(X\) and \(Y\) be smooth Calabi-Yau threefolds which are mutually orthogonal sections of \(\mathcal{X}=S^{2}(\mathbb{P}(V))\subset \mathbb{P}(S^{2}(V))\) and \(\mathcal{Y}\) (double cover of determinantal symmetroid in \(\mathbb{P}(S^{2}(V^{*})))\), respectively. If \(I\) is a certain ideal sheaf, then the Fourier-Mukai functor \(\Phi_{I}\) with \(I\) as its kernel is an equivalence between the derived categories \(\mathcal{D}^{b}(X)\) and \(\mathcal{D}^{b}(Y)\).
