The authors investigate the problem of affine canonical bases. There are many approaches to construct the canonical bases: e.g. Lusztig's geometric approach, Kashiwara's approach, ... The authors of the paper provide another approach to constructing an~integral basis: Hall algebras and representations of tame quivers over finite fields. This approach is motivated by Lusztig's approach for finite type quivers, using Ringel's characterization of the positive part of the quantized enveloping algebra as the generic Hall algebra of finite type quiver. Moreover in the paper the authors discuss relations of constructed basis to the canonical basis.
