Unlike the Riemannian case, symplectic manifolds have no local symplectomorphism invariants like curvature. However, in [Adv. Math. 136, No. 1, 104--140, Art. No. AI981727 (1998; Zbl 0945.53047)] \textit{I. M. Gelfand} et al. defined the symplectic sectional curvature of a torsion-free connection preserving a symplectic form. The author defines and explores constant symplectic sectional curvature manifolds in terms of the curvature of the symplectic manifold. The article is clearly written and explores interesting geometric matters, such as non-positive sectional curvature, isotropic sectional curvature, vanishing sectional curvature, indefinite sectional curvature.
