Let \((M,g)\) be a complete Riemannian manifold and let \(\operatorname{Ric}\) be its Ricci tensor. If \(\operatorname{Ric}_f:=\operatorname{Ric}+D^2f=\lambda g\) for some scalar \(\lambda>0\) and for some function \(f\), which is called the potential function, then \((M,g)\) is said to be gradient shrinking Ricci soliton (shrinker). In the reviewed paper the author gives a volume comparison theorem for unit balls on the complete noncompact gradient Ricci shrinker \((M,g,f)\) with Ricci curvature bounded from below. The analogous theorem for gradient steady Ricci solitons (\(\operatorname{Ric}_f\geqslant 0\)) is also presented. Next the author considers the case when \(\operatorname{Ric}_f\geqslant h(x)g\) for some potential functions \(f(x)\) and some nonnegative function \(h(x)\) in \(M\). He proves a Liouville-type theorem and describes several integral properties of \(f\)-harmonic or harmonic functions.
