For geometric Lorenz flows with strong dissipative property, the authors establish superpolynomial decay of correlations for smooth observables with respect to unique SRB-measure. Strong dissipativity means that the divergence of the vector field is strictly negative and eigenvalues of the singularity satisfy some additional constraint. The proof is based on the notion of temporal distortion function. The crucial ingredients are the dimension property of the range of the temporal distortion function and some of the results of the second author [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 359, No. 5, 2421--2441 (2007; Zbl 1184.37024); Proc. Lond. Math. Soc. (3) 98, No. 1, 163--190 (2009; Zbl 1158.37005)]. The authors also prove a central limit theorem and an almost sure invariance principle for the time-1 map of such flows. These results rely on theorem of \textit{C. Cuny} and \textit{F. Merlevède} [J. Theor. Probab. 28, No. 1, 137--183 (2015; Zbl 1353.60031)]. The authors also conjecture that all results can be extended to more general flows, for example the Lorenz-like flows [the first author and \textit{M. J. Pacifico}, Three-dimensional flows. Dordrecht: Springer (2010; Zbl 1202.37002)].
