The tent map \(T_s:[0,1]\to[0,1]\) defined by \(T_s(x)=\min\{sx,s(1-x)\}\) for \(s\in[1,2]\) has associated inverse limit space \(X_s=\injlim([0,s/2],T_s)\). Here it is shown that for \(\sqrt{2}<s<2\) any homeomorphism \(X_s\to X_s\) is isotopic to a power of the natural shift map on \(K_s\).
