The Poisson cohomology was defined by Lichnerowicz. It plays an important role in Poisson geometry, gives several information on the geometry of the manifold, is closely related to the classification of singularities of Poisson structures, naturally appears in infinitesimal deformations of Poisson tensors, third cohomology group, and is exploited in the study and the classification of star-products. In this work the authors propose a general approach to the formal Poisson cohomology or \(r\)-matrix induced quadratic structures, and apply this device to compute the cohomology structure 2 of the Dufour-Haraki classification, and provide complete results also for the cohomology of structure 7.
