This is an excellent report, regarding ramification estimates for the hyperbolic Gauss map. The author gives a sharp upper bound on the number of exceptional values and totally ramified value number of the hyperbolic Gauss map, for (pseudo-algebraic) surfaces of mean curvature \(H=1\) in hyperbolic 3-space. Another very interesting result that would have been worth stating in the abstract of this paper is the following: Applying the classification of algebraic CMC-1 surfaces with dual absolute curvature equal to \(8\pi\), the author shows that the hyperbolic Gauss map of algebraic CMC-1 surfaces has a value distribution theoretical property with no analogue in the theory of the Gauss map of minimal surfaces in \(\mathbb R^3\).
