Let \(R\) be a standard graded algebra over a field of characteristic \(p>0\), which is a domain. Let \(R^+\) be the integral closure of \(R\) in an algebraic closure of its fraction field, \(I\subset R\) an ideal and \(I^+=IR^+\cap R\). If dim \(R=2\) and \(I\) is homogeneous, \textit{H. Brenner} [Nagoya Math. J. 177, 31--45 (2005; Zbl 1074.13003) and Am. J. Math. 128, No. 2, 531--539 (2006; Zbl 1102.13002)] showed cases when \(I^+\) is the tight closure of \(I\). The present paper extends the above result for the case when \(I\) is not homogeneous.
