Generalized Gevrey ultradistributions (Q1019590): Difference between revisions

Ultradistributions are natural generalisations of the Schwartz class of distributions and the question of their multiplication in the sense of Colombeau-type distributrions is still open. Hence it makes sense to search for certain algebras containing ultradistributions in order to study them. In the present work, one such algebra of Gevrey distributions is found and studied. A microlocal analysis is developed for this algebra and an application is given through an extension of a theorem of Hörmander on the wave front of the product of two distributions.
