An explicit construction of the twisting cocycle \(F\) is provided. This twist can be used to construct the universal \(R\)-matrix for esoteric (non-standard) quantum groups \(U_q(gl(2N+1))\). This universal \(R\)-matrix corresponds to the Fronsdal-Galindo \(R\)-matrix which depends on more than one parameter. Possible applications of the structure are quoted.
